The Iona School is a nursery/kindergarten/school providing for children aged between 6 months and 11 years. It is a Steiner School situated in Sneinton Dale, Nottingham that adheres to the traditions, philosophies and beliefs of Rudolf Steiner. The language is English, although alot of parents are from other European countries
The school is located in sneinton dale on the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre which is host to many hotels.
The NCT bus route 43 takes you directly from the City Centre to the school and back again. The bus stop is located just outside of the school.
Nottingham City Centre nightlife!!! Great nights on Thursday with many bars offering live music.
Things to do, things not to do
Before you go it is a great idea to do background research into the steiner approach. Although the school were very helpful in helping us gain knowledge and understand about the teaching style, conducting background research helped me understand much more quickly.
