Transport

There is a bus service to travel about town, and many taxi services. There is a train station, which is useful to train around the country, and a small airport which only does internal flights (do not send flights abroad), so it easy to travel to Oslo and Trondheim for day trips.

Social life

There are a few bars around in the town centre, and only one night club. A fair few places to go and eat out, and a lot more shops. However most local people own cabins the country and go away at weekends to ski. There is a lot of places for indoor and outdoor sports, such as swimming and hiking. The local cinema shows a lot of Norwegian and English films. Diving is a big pass time here, and so Trondheim offers many chances to learn how to dive.

Head master:

Phone number: +47 75 14 42 31

Before you go

Before you go, it would be a good idea to email the headmaster, and request a meeting time and place for your first day. Have a trip to the school the day before you start, so you aware of how to go there and where to go in the morning.

Be prepared for a lot of snow, even in march it is still winter in Mo I Rana, and you need to bring your winter woollies. You will also need a good pair of walking shoes, fit for walking in heavy snow and deep ice.
