This nursery is within a small town called Kenilworth which borders Warick and Leamington and Southern Coventry, West Midlands. This town is quiet and secluded and remains within its own little community which has a population around 23,219. There are some sentiments to this town which relates to the English history which are the Kenilworth and Warick castle, Kenilworth Clock Tower, Kenilworth War Memorial, Abbey Fields and Nature Reserves. There is a small selection of shops, restaurants, bars and café's my personal favourite is a restaurant called ZIZI which I believe to be fine cuisine that is fairly priced.
As for the Nursery I found the staff to be very helpful and supportive they were willing to answer any of my questions and help me to gather any evidence towards my assignment.
On the other hand, as for their specialised field of following the ethos of a Forest School I found this not be as useful as I was only able to participate for 10 minutes during play within their Nursery. However, this was due to a lack of staff as they travelled with the children elsewhere to participate in Forest School. Overall it is a pleasant experience but strongly not advised in terms of assessing Forest School.
I am personally from Coventry and therefore remained at home and commuted to Kenilworth everyday during my placement. However, I have researched and I am able to suggest a few accommodations.

Most places are local so a lot of transport is taken by walking or bicycles, However there are plenty cars so it is down to your personal choice. Buses going in and out of Kenilworth but are not used to get around Kenilworth. However, if you wish to venture out of Kenilworth the X17 goes to Coventry, Warick and Leamington. The 11 bus comes from Leamington Spa then goes to Kenilworth, University of Warick, Earlsdon and Coventry City Centre.
Within Kenilworth there are many restaurants, Café's, bars and pubs. However, other sorts of social life for students such as clubs you would again have to travel to Leamington or Coventry.
Things to do, things not to do
Due to this being a quiet, reserved town I would advise you not to cause any disturbances as it is very community based and will be detected by many people, other than that people are very welcoming.
Lisa Vicary is the manager of the Kenilworth Flutterbies who will be very welcoming and give you any details you wish to know, her number is as follows: 01926 851888
I think the key to things running smoothly is being organised before going to Kenilworth, this means researching and selecting your accommodation and deciding your method of transport. I believe researching Kenilworth will also be useful so you are aware of the surroundings, however, if needs be you can ask the locals who are generally quite friendly.
