Placement Information

Lamb Setts Montessori Nursery School is situated in the village of Mosborough (Sheffield). The Nursery School consists of a baby nursery, Montessori pre-school & school and out of school kids club.

Lamb Setts takes it's name from both the 'Lamb Sacs' village green which is opposite the nursery, which was used years ago by local farmers to dip sheep and 'Setts' which is the old fashioned term for 'stepping stones.'

Lamb Setts offers both care and education for children aged between 3 months- 12 years. The baby nursery is for children 3months- 2years, Pre-School 2-3 years and 3years+ Montessori School unit.

The nursery offers a wide range of interesting and stimulating learning materials and toys for the children both indoor and outdoor.

Transport

As Mosborough is situated on the outskirts of Sheffield it is easily accessible and there are a wide range of transports available. The nursery is just off High Street(A6135) which is the main road which runs through Mosborough, where there are several different bus stops and different bus routes. There is also a tram stop into sheffield city centre which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the nursery. The nursery is also easily accessable by car and there is lots of on road space for parking.

Before you go

As the nursery is big and there are lots of different sections it would be beneficial to visit the nursery before starting placement to get to know your way around. It would also be beneficial to get to meet some of the staff that work there, this helped to take pressure off on my first day.
